Is this a person that flunked out of Med school, or an animal lover ? They perform proceedures on your cat or dog for $200 that would cost $20,000 on a human. What gives ?

if your dog was covered by your health insurance, i bet it would cost much more. See the problem.

Plus they don't care much about their patients, I had ate so much crap with f*#@$ vet advice....Diagnose varies constantly but they always say proudly that the last vet I consult is a stupid ass**le . If they got sued more often probably they'll be more careful. :nono5:

Good Point ! I get my cat spayed ( hysterectomy= removal of uterus and ovaries) for $57 ( and $25 rebate available). A human being this costs big bucks, like 10k +++. There should be a happy medium here. The cat will likely live, a higher standard for humans, but the cost differential is extreme.

i get the feeling vets are usually just people who just love animals. i am pretty sure they need 6 years of schooling or so for it. so it isnt exactly a back up carrer.

some of them are pretty good. i remember one time we brought in a golden retriever and he had exactly one flea on him and the vet found it i was amazed.

imagine the shyt they have to go through sometimes what if someone brings in a german shepard trained to kill that is sick and needs to stay a few days. you have to sedate the fvcker every 4 hours or so in fear that he'll maul the staff or something.
